Job Description

Entisys360 is a top tier Citrix partner looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Citrix Engineer – Level 3 to join the Entisys360 Managed Services team for a project specific contract. The ideal candidate should have expertise in building and supporting enterprise class Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments and an understanding of Citrix project design and planning concepts. Additionally, the candidate should be experienced with VMware vSphere and associated suite of products. A focus on quality service delivery and client satisfaction is a must.

Ideal candidates should possess no less than 10 years of IT administration experience with an emphasis on Citrix and Application Delivery technologies and supporting technologies and solutions such as Microsoft Group Policies, profile management, user environment management and print management.

Candidates should also have a solid ability to “see the whole picture” and possess general design and project management skills.

  • Work full-time onsite in Tampa, at our client’s office
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation with other team members
  • Must have the ability to articulate highly technical solutions to a client’s non-technical staff
  • Self-sufficient with the capability to manage your own time
  • Able to quickly and efficiently move through technical roadblocks and technical issues by leveraging alternative options with client and working with vendor

Technical Requirements

XenApp/XenDesktop 7.x experience commensurate with a CCV-A skillset

  • Experience provisioning and maintaining VDI desktops via MCS
  • Experience publishing and maintaining published applications
  • Experience using Director to troubleshoot session issues and report on delivery group utilization
  • Versed in troubleshooting session issues related to UPM and redirected folders
  • Versed in Citrix policy via GPO administration
  • Knowledgeable in creating and maintaining StoreFront stores
  • Understanding of NetScaler load balancing and gateway servers
  • Ability to administer and troubleshoot all common functions of Windows operating systems
  • Experience administering XenApp 6.5 and later published applications
  • Experience performing basic VM administrative tasks using vSphere
  • Ability to use Excel to manage and manipulate data
  • Knowledgeable of basic ITIL processes, specifically around change management and repeatable processes
  • Understanding of PowerShell scripts
  • Ability to liaise with application owners (business units), understand their issues, and identify how we can help
  • Must be able to work in multiple IT areas should the need arise

Other Desirable Skills

  • Experience in AWS environments
  • Experience creating PowerShell scripts
  • Exposure to SCOM for monitoring
  • Exposure to ServiceNow
  • Exposure to application layering
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environments with an emphasis on change control
